Danil
Molodkin was born in 1973 in the village
of Mstera, where he resides at present
time.
In 1993 the artist graduated from the

and mentor was Mr. Kostakov,
Yu
Danil paints in the style of Mstera
lacquered miniature, using tempera
paints. He paints using a wide
spectrum of colors, and may be that is
why his compositions always look bright,
expressive, and optimistic.
The artist has a fertile imagination.
Many of his painted pieces are original
works. The artist's has different
themes for his compositions.
Danil Molodkin supposes the most
important elements in his artworks are
detailed painting, mastery of fine
brush, and compositional structure.
Beginning to paint a new composition, he
intends to devise something new and
unusual for himself. His piece is
done when there is nothing to add and
the composition is completely painted.
The artist applies in painting his
personal artistic methods and that is
why his works are easy recognizable and
original.
Danil thinks perception of art depends
on a personality, and everyone will find
in his works the traits that correspond
to his own taste.
Danil Molodkin has chosen his profession
not by chance. He likes to paint since
his childhood. Also, his mother,
father and brother are painters.
