Tatyana Dmitrieva was born in 1962 in the town of Electrostal, Moscow Region. Now she resides in the village of Fedoskino.

In 1983 the artist graduated from the Fedoskino Art School of miniature painting. Her teachers were Chistov S.S. and Frolov V.N.

Dmitrieva's art works are exhibited in the Museum of Fedoskino factory of miniature painting.  Tatyana paints her compositions in the Fedoskino tradition of lacquer miniature art using oil paints. Themes of her works are fairy-tales, romaticism, portrait, historical, and genre scenes.

The artist thinks that the most important stages in painting are construction of a composition and choice of a color spectrum. Beginning to paint a composition, she intends to paint it better than all previous ones and improve the level of her professional skill.

The artist's opinion, it is easy to distinguish her works from other Fedoskino artists by means of visual compare.  Dmitrieva's works are notable for thinninness of painting, accuracy of drawing, original themes, peculiar coloring, and undoubtedly high quality of execution.
